eCommerce SEO Tip #003

December 2, 2011 | |

As mobile search is ever-increasing, reviews on major search engines’ local listings are getting more and more visibility. Google and Yahoo quite literally have a place for adding reviews to local businesses on their Local Listings page, but where is this option for Bing!? This year, Bing changed the way it displays local listings by drawing their listings from both Citysearch and Yelp. These are both efficient and widely used directories in finding and rating local businesses, each getting tens of millions in unique visitors each month. If your store does not yet have a listing on these sites, it would be best to submit your information to them to get the easy and effective search visibility boosts that they offer!
