On most of the sites we work on, the store owner will name the images randomly; the image name full of numbers and letters that have no discernible logic. Whether you have 10 products or 10000 products, naming your product and category images properly is key to keeping your site well organized.
For example, let’s say that we have a granola bar in our store with the SKU “GB-1001-Cinnamon”
The product’s photo is currently named: “cinn20algres0121.jpg”
A better way to name the product is by using the SKU: “GB_1001_Cinnamon_large01.jpg”
